同劇団の台本はオスカーの手によって書かれ、そして各役者へと役があてがわれてゆく。

その言葉の実践者として、仮面を着けた時の彼は、明け透けな快楽至上主義者へと変わる。

捕縛術の達人である、ワノクニの「転光生」。
なお警察犬ではなく、「犬のお巡りさん」であるのが、彼にとっては重要な違いであるようだ。
検事や裁判官と協力あるいは対峙しながら、裁判を前提とした活動を行う、特別司法警察職員。
対「外」テロ対策や麻薬取締官などの任務に就くこともある。
その中で、東京各区内を所轄とする警察官たちとぶつかり合うこともしばしばだとか。
右の頬先に牡丹の痣を持つ、「信」の八犬士。
「信」とは欺かぬこと、言を違えぬこと、そして何より疑わぬこと。
法律と運命を疑わぬ故の強さを持ち、「八犬士として戦う」限りは他の犬士に決して負けない。
自分を育てるために仕方なく密漁の罪を犯し、漁師の父親が捕らえられた過去を持つ。
そんなノブミチが赴く現場にはよく、もうひとりの犬獣人の子供の姿があるという。
迷宮入りしかけた事件に、幼子とは思えぬ推理洞察力を発揮し、陰からズバズバ真実を言い当てるとか。
八犬士随一の庶民育ちを自認し、「犬士たち全員のお兄さん」を自称する。
中でも乳きょうだいである犬田小文吾ヤスヨリに対しては、特に可愛さを感じているようだ。

外面と羽振りが良く、公の場に上野ギルドが出る時は、対外交渉役を務めることも多い。
東京における転光生物学の一大研究拠点、飢野学園に在籍する。
そして同学の生物災害対策班に所属し、上野ギルドのハスターと組む「テイマー」でもある。
更に司法警察検視官あるいは監察医として、そして某分野の生物学研究者としても名を知られているようだ。
その研究領域は「竜蛇」、つまり大きな爬虫類の研究である。
パズズにとってまさに体の一部であるそれは、飽くなき愛欲に直結する対象でもあった。
彼の研究室からは夜な夜な、「番犬にして実験体」の哀れな悲鳴が聞こえてくるという噂。
だが、とてもとても外面がよいので、彼が何かやましいことをしているなどと、他の誰も信じない。
風・病虫・干ばつ・毒にまつわる無差別攻撃をピンポイントでメタる「魔除け」を持っている。
直立したトカゲが大好きで、それは大きければ大きいほど良いと考えているらしい。
