海の益荒男、しかも兄貴然とした相手を見ると、自分の兄と違うとわかっていながらも目を離せない。
その相手は熱い夏のナイトプールで、積極的に愛を振りまいていた。
そんな人物への対抗心からか、この夏、ヤマサチヒコはこれまでとは違う「陸釣り」に挑戦するようだ。
野暮を承知で説明するなら「自分だって、気になるあいつを夏のデートへ誘うんじゃ」という意味である。

もしかしたら、夏の夜空を見ながら星の話を出来る誰かに出会えるかもしれない。
自分と同じように宇宙に心を寄せる仲間が出来るかもしれない。
――僕から話しかけるのは無理でも、「もうひとりの僕」なら。
そっと口元で呟き、オズは胸元のエメラルドの小瓶に手を伸ばした。
自分の勇気を試してくる相手に苦手意識を抱いている。
このオズと名乗る「転光生」は元々、おとぎ話の存在であり、十分な「信仰」基盤を持たない。
いわば、都市から生まれた伝説、フォークロアの変形種。
そこに、異世界オリュンポスで星座に祭り上げられた、強き獅子の「記憶」を別途、外接されている。
物理的に上位に位置する存在をあてがわれているのには、オズの儚い存在証明を補強する意味もあるらしい。

どこまでも完璧な彼に足りないものなどない、誰しもがそう思うだろう。
しかしながら、微笑む彼の瞳の奥にはひとつの渇望、あるいは決意があった。
それが夢や煙のように儚く手の届かないものであると知りながら、彼は自ら望んでこの東京で踊る。
ところで、常に傍らに控えるボディーガードは彼のコンシェルジュのような役割も卒なくこなすのだとか。
同じ職場で役目を果たさんとする後進に、きっと頼もしい背中を見せてくれるだろう。
「虚ろ」を識る誰かに対して、「空」を識る自分とは意外に気が合うのではないかと思っている。
